Program Promotion
One of the main tasks of my internship was to help spread the word about Girls Inc.’s self esteem, STEM, and college and career readiness programs. Through crafting posts that quickly and efficiently promoted their programming, I helped to drive followers to our website to sign up and increase our attendance numbers.
Did You Know?
Girls Inc. national published a report based on a study conducted on its programs. As part of our #motivationalmonday social campaign, I pulled compelling statistics from the report and designed posts around them.

One of my goals during my internship was to get better at InDesign. I created a social campaign called “I Want to Be” that was part of Girls Inc.’s #STEMSaturday Campaign. I got the opportunity to work on this campaign while interning at Girls Inc. Indy. #womensupportingwomen focuses on highlighting an inspiring Indianapolis woman and telling her story through short, compelling social content. Girls Inc.’s mission is “Inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold.” I chose women who exemplified these three categories.
